Microsoft 365

What is Microsoft 365?Why should you use Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 is a cloud service solution launched by Microsoft and can be regarded as an integrated digital tools platform.

Users can access various "online" services via the internet, including Office applications such as Word Online, Excel Online, and PowerPoint Online, as well as features like Outlook Web App email, Microsoft Teams online meetings, calendars, and OneDrive cloud storage… etc.

As teaching and learning models gradually move toward cloud-based environments, mobile learning and blended teaching have become important trends. Microsoft 365 services can support flexible teaching and cross-location use, allowing faculty, staff, and students to teach, learn, and collaborate anytime and anywhere. This not only enhances convenience but also helps ensure teaching continuity and improve administrative efficiency, bringing practical benefits to schools.

How should I use my Microsoft 365 service?

You can access Microsoft 365 services through the campus Information portal or the webmail section on the school’s official website, and log in using your "ANID."

Because faculty/staff and student account formats are different, you must enter the "full email address" when logging into the service.

After logging in, click on "Apps" at the bottom left of the screen, then select "All apps" to start using all Microsoft 365 services.

Can I still use Microsoft 365 services after I graduate?

Starting from the 113th academic year, graduate accounts will only be retained for "one year after graduation," and the accounts and storage space will be completely removed on "August 1 of the year following graduation."

After graduating students are fully removed on August 1 of the following year, the service will no longer be restored.

If you are a graduating student in the June–September period, your account will be deleted on "July 31 of the following year"; if you are a student extending graduation by half a semester, your account will be deleted on "July 31 of the same year."

I see that within the Microsoft 365 service I can download and install Office applications. Can these be used normally?

The Office applications provided within the Microsoft 365 services of our school are "online" services.

If there is a need for installation on a local computer, please refer to the relevant instructions in the Campus Licensed Software Service for installation and authentication.
