VPN Service
VPN Service
What is a VPN? When to use VPN?
VPN is an abbreviation for Virtual Private Network. This service uses encryption technology to encode and protect users’ network data, thereby extending a private network onto a public network, allowing users to access services that are unavailable due to regional restrictions through VPN services.
Currently, higher-privilege services on campus are protected through network restrictions, and these high-privilege services are marked accordingly within the campus portal. When you are accessing them from off campus or using a personal mobile network on campus, or in other non-campus network environments, these services can only be used after connecting to the VPN.
